Sleep

I only got about 4 hours and 45 minutes of sleep last night, and am debating whether or not to stay up until 12:00 tonight simply so I can see my SAT scores. It's only a couple more hours away. Off to write college essay.

Work

All of a sudden work has crept upon me this week, and I find myself having a lot of things to do and not a lot of time to accomplish anything. However, I was able to install a new GMail add-on for Firefox, and it dings whenever I receive a new email. You can see the new add on working in the lower right of my browser. What I realized late last night was that as long as Firefox is running, it will ding. As I lay in bed and try to fall asleep every so often I hear a little ding, so if you're up for it, send me a little message late at night, and take comfort in the fact that you are keeping me awake.

Travels

I got back late last night from the travels, and I would say they were successful. I got to look at a few schools, and had a couple interviews. There were some crazy delays, an one night we ended up getting in to our hotel at around 3 in the morning as a result of some sort of funky smell coming from a distillery across the river from the airport.

Luckily I do not have that much homework, for I need to get working on the college essays and such if I want to apply early decision to anywhere. Wish me luck.

Day

So six minutes into the 40 minute overtime the other team scored, and because it was golden goal, we officially lost. However, it was one of the best seasons that our team has had in terms of wins. I have to pack tonight and we leave tomorrow.

Soccer Game

We had a rematch of last years playoff game today. Just like last year, the game ended 0-0, and so we will be coming back tomorrow to do 4 quarters (10 minutes each) of overtime It should be fun, so come down and watch at 4:30 if you have nothing better to do. It's golden goal, so first team to score wins. If nobody scores then , we advance to penalty kicks. Should be interesting.

Break

I finally went through the 14 pounds (yes, I weighed it) of college mail that I have received in the past couple of months, and am now taking a well deserved break. On the plus side, my room/desk is a little bit cleaner thanks to my forced cleaning. I'm going on a break starting on Thursday and will be back Sunday.

In Rainbows

If you haven't heard, the record industry is in a big slump. Madonna just dumped her record label, and Radiohead just released "In Rainbows" sans record contract. They distribute it through the In Rainbows website and I just downloaded it. The price is whatever you make it. You get to mark down how much you want to spend. Already it has "sold" over 1.2 million copies in just 5 days. It's farily simple to download, all you need is an email address (does not even have to be valid) and then you are able to download the full album. Off to write college essays.
